एपिसोड की शुरुआत में शालिनी के माता-पिता सोचते हैं कि आदित्य सौम्या का प्रेमी है, जब वे उसे सौम्या के साथ देखते हैं। वे आदित्य से कहते हैं कि वह और सौम्या एक साथ बहुत अच्छे लगते हैं। सौम्या कहती है कि वे गलतफहमी में हैं और अपने माता-पिता को बताती है कि आदित्य उसका सहयोगी है जो हमेशा उनके ऑफिस में बेस्ट एम्प्लॉयी का अवार्ड जीतता है। शालिनी आदित्य से माफी मांगती है और पूछती है कि क्या वह सौम्या के खास दोस्त के बारे में जानता है। शालिनी के पति उसे छोड़ने के लिए कहते हैं और आदित्य को चाय पीने के लिए आमंत्रित करते हैं। आदित्य सहमत हो जाता है।
अक्षत मंगल से कहता है कि वह हॉस्टल नहीं जाना चाहता। वह अपने दादा-दादी से कहता है कि वह उनके साथ रहना चाहता है। मंगल अक्षत को इस तरह से नहीं सोचने के लिए कहते हैं और उसे आश्वासन देते हैं कि आदित्य ईशाना को घर वापस ले आएगा और उसे हॉस्टल में नहीं डालेगा। अक्षत सहमत हो जाता है और कहता है कि वह ईशाना को याद कर रहा है। मंगल उसे होमवर्क करने के लिए भेज देते हैं। कुसुम के पति कहते हैं कि आदित्य जानता है कि मुझे बच्चों को हॉस्टल में डालना पसंद नहीं है, लेकिन फिर भी उसने ऐसा किया। मंगल कहते हैं कि आदित्य ने गुस्से में ईशाना को हॉस्टल में भेजा है और वह बदल जाएगा। कुसुम कहती है कि आदित्य कमाने वाला है, इसलिए वह हमसे बात किए बिना ही निर्णय ले रहा है। वह एक छाया देखती है और मानती है कि वह आदित्य है और कहती है कि वह उससे बात नहीं करना चाहती।
कार्तिक अंदर आता है और कुसुम से पूछता है कि वह उससे बात क्यों नहीं करना चाहती। कुसुम कहती है कि उसने आदित्य के घर आने की उम्मीद की थी और बताती है कि वह उसका पसंदीदा है। कार्तिक मंगल से कहता है कि उसने उसे बुलाया था, और वह आदित्य के जन्मदिन के लिए व्यवस्था करने आया है। मंगल कहते हैं कि वह तनाव के कारण इसे भूल गई थी। कुसुम कार्तिक से कहती है कि आदित्य ने ईशाना को बोर्डिंग स्कूल में डाल दिया है, इसलिए हम किसी भी उत्सव में दिलचस्पी नहीं रखते। कार्तिक कहता है कि आदित्य ईशाना से प्यार करता है, इसलिए उसका निर्णय सही होगा।
सौम्या के माता-पिता आदित्य से सौम्या के प्रेमी के बारे में बात करते हैं। आदित्य असहज महसूस करता है और वहां से निकलने की कोशिश करता है, यह कहकर कि उसे एक महत्वपूर्ण मीटिंग में जाना है। शालिनी आदित्य को ऑफिस के लिए रवाना होने से पहले टिफिन देती है। सौम्या सोचती है कि यह झटका आदित्य के लिए जरूरी था।
मंगल से लक्ष्मी कहती है कि वह चिंता न करे और कहती है कि वह उसके पास आ रही है। मंगल लक्ष्मी से कहती है कि वह गायत्री द्वारा दिए गए दिए का काम पूरा करे। वह कहती है कि उम्मीद है कि आदित्य अपने जन्मदिन पर ईशाना को याद करेगा और उसे वापस ले आएगा। वह लक्ष्मी से इसके लिए प्रार्थना करने को कहती है।
संजना और निधि लक्ष्मी के दिए को खराब कर देते हैं। लक्ष्मी वहां आती है और अपने टूटे हुए दिए देखती है। वह कुछ सुराग देखती है और जानती है कि किसने उसके दिए तोड़े हैं। वह सुराग का पीछा करती है और लगभग निधि को पकड़ने वाली होती है। संजना गिरने का नाटक करती है और लक्ष्मी का ध्यान भटकाती है।
बाहर, सौम्या आदित्य से मिलती है। आदित्य सौम्या को डांटता है कि वह उसे परेशान कर रही है बिना उसकी घर की स्थिति जाने। सौम्या पूछती है कि क्या हुआ। आदित्य बताता है कि सभी उससे नाराज हैं क्योंकि उसने ईशाना को बोर्डिंग स्कूल भेजा है। सौम्या पूछती है कि उसने ऐसा क्यों किया। आदित्य कहता है कि वह इस बारे में बात नहीं करना चाहता। सौम्या सहमत हो जाती है।
बाद में सौम्या आदित्य से पूछती है कि उसके कल के जन्मदिन के लिए क्या योजना है। आदित्य कहता है कि उसे कुसुम के साथ अपना जन्मदिन मनाना है, लेकिन वह उससे नाराज है। सौम्या पूछती है कि क्या वह उसके साथ पार्टी करेगा अगर वह कुसुम को मना ले और उसके पूरे परिवार को शामिल कर ले। आदित्य सहमत हो जाता है।
कुसुम आदित्य के ईशाना को हॉस्टल भेजने के निर्णय से नाराज है। मंगल कुसुम को सांत्वना देता है और कहता है कि वह ईशाना को वापस लाने के लिए सब कुछ करेगी। आदित्य घर लौटता है। आदित्य अपने परिवार से पूछता है कि क्या सभी समझ गए कि उसने जो निर्णय लिया है वह ईशाना के लिए अच्छा है। मंगल कहता है कि नहीं और कहता है कि सभी उसके निर्णय से नाराज हैं। मंगल कहता है कि ईशाना कभी भी हॉस्टल में नहीं रह पाएगी।
गायत्री लक्ष्मी को डांटती है क्योंकि दिए टूटे हुए हैं और वह इसके लिए लक्ष्मी को दोष देती है। संजना दूर से यह सब देखती है और इसका आनंद लेती है।
मंगल आदित्य से बात करती है और उससे कहती है कि उसे ईशाना से बात करने की अनुमति दे ताकि वह सुनिश्चित कर सके कि वह ठीक है। आदित्य अपने कान पकड़ता है।
Mangal Lakshmi 9 August 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Shalini’s parents thinking Aditya is Soumya’s boyfriend when they see him with Soumya. They tell Aditya that he and Soumya look great together. Soumya says they are mistaken and tells her parents that Aditya is her colleague who always wins the best employee award in their office. Shalini apologizes to Aditya and asks if he knows about Soumya’s special friend. Shalini’s husband asks her to leave and invites Aditya to have tea. Aditya agrees.
Akshat tells Mangal that he doesn’t want to go to the hostel. He tells his grandparents that he wants to live with them. Mangal asks Akshat not to think like this and assures him that Aditya will bring Ishana back home and won’t put her in the hostel. Akshat agrees and says he is missing Ishana. Mangal sends him to do his homework. Kusum’s husband says Aditya knows I don’t like putting kids in hostel, but still he did it. Mangal says Aditya has sent Ishana to hostel in anger and that will change. Kusum says Aditya is the breadwinner, so he is taking decision without talking to us. She sees a shadow and assumes it is Aditya and says she doesn’t want to talk to him.
Karthik walks in and asks Kusum why she doesn’t want to talk to him. Kusum says she expected Aditya to come home and tells that he is her favourite. Kartik tells Mangal that she called him, and he has come to make arrangements for Aditya’s birthday. Mangal says she forgot it due to stress. Kusum tells Kartik that Aditya has put Ishana in boarding school, so we are not interested in any celebration. Kartik says Aditya loves Ishana, so his decision will be right.
Soumya’s parents talk to Aditya about Soumya’s boyfriend. Aditya feels uncomfortable and tries to leave from there, saying he has to attend an important meeting. Shalini gives Aditya the tiffin before leaving for office. Soumya thinks this shock was necessary for Aditya.
Laxmi tells Mangal not to worry and says she is coming to him. Mangal tells Lakshmi to complete the work of the diya given by Gayatri. She says hopefully Aditya will remember Ishana on his birthday and bring her back. She asks Lakshmi to pray for it.
Sanjana and Nidhi spoil Lakshmi’s diya. Lakshmi comes there and sees her broken diyas. She sees some clues and knows who broke her diyas. She follows the clues and is almost about to catch Nidhi. Sanjana pretends to fall and distracts Lakshmi.
Outside, Soumya meets Aditya. Aditya scolds Soumya that she is troubling him without knowing his home situation. Soumya asks what happened. Aditya tells that everyone is angry with him because he sent Ishana to boarding school. Soumya asks why did he do that. Aditya says he doesn’t want to talk about it. Soumya agrees.
Later Soumya asks Aditya what are the plans for his birthday tomorrow. Aditya says he has to celebrate his birthday with Kusum, but she is angry with him. Soumya asks if he will party with her if she convinces Kusum and includes her whole family. Aditya agrees.
Kusum is angry with Aditya’s decision to send Ishana to hostel. Mangal consoles Kusum and says she will do everything to bring Ishana back. Aditya returns home. Aditya asks his family if everyone understood that the decision he took is good for Ishana. Mangal says no and says that everyone is angry with his decision. Mangal says that Ishana will never be able to stay in the hostel.
Gayatri scolds Lakshmi because the diyas are broken and she blames Lakshmi for it. Sanjana watches all this from a distance and enjoys it.
Mangal talks to Aditya and asks him to allow her to talk to Ishana so that she can make sure she is fine. Aditya holds his ears.
